About Fuerteventura:

   Fuerteventura is the oldest of the Canary Islands dating back 20 million years ago, in fact when you visit the Island you will feel like you have travelled back in time. The semi-desert Island lies approximately 100km off the coast of North Africa and therefore enjoys a perfect climate with average temperatures ranging from 17°C to 25°C all year round.

   For those who prefer land activities you can choose from mountain biking, golfing and hill walking. On the other hand for those not so active, all you have to do to enjoy the perfect tranquil holiday is to let your imagination run free, whilst experiencing the miles of stunning golden sandy beaches and secluded salt water lagoons.

   The island can also accommodate the family holiday, with lots of things to keep everyone occupied, from marine excursions, a massive water park, to a family visit to the zoo and lots more.

   For those who prefer getting out and about we recommend you visit: The old capital of the Island 'Betancuria' which is steeped in history dating back to 1405. The highest point of the island 'Mount Jandia', where you will find spectacular views. The unforgettable stretch of sand dunes on the edge of Corralejo in the north. Walk along numerous walkways of the hills and mountains taking in the special sightings of desert wildlife. Feel the clean air brushing your face as you as you walk uninterrupted along the rugged coast line.  

   Local people tell the tale, that when you arrive on the island you will cry because you think you have landed on the moon, due to the volcanic landscape. However they also say when you depart, you will cry again because you have fallen in love with something but are unable to describe what it is.
