Tindaya:

Tindaya is a charming little goat farming village, which sits at the foot of the spectacular
it is very hard and doesn’t erode and when smoothed down and treated makes an attractive fascia. This stone can be seen as the walls of Fuerteventura airport. There was recently a project to build inside the mountain and hollow it out so tourists could see inside it. However there was obviously people who did not agree with these plans so as it is, the project is just an idea and not yet a reality. For such a small village Tindaya has a few local bars one of which is called the Tindaya Arms. There is also a small new supermarket, a large multi-sport facility, and a children’s play area. Just a 17 minute drive away, are the stunning beaches and magnificent salt water
lagoons of El Cotillo, a tiny, unspoilt fishing village, offering the experience of total tranquillity. Tindaya’s undiscovered, isolated beaches can be accessed via an off-road dirt track direct from the villa (4x4 vehicle recommended). La Olivia and Villa Verde villages offer excellent bars, restaurants and food stores, reflecting the tastes and characteristics of the locals. However, the major resort of Corralejo with its lively atmosphere can be found just a 20-minute drive away.
